Typically, you do not need to wait for very long until you're able to wash or shower after your facelift. Normally, it is OK for people to do so the day following their operation, but you will want to double check with your physician beforehand. If you do shower, be quite gentle, especially around the incision places. Scrubbing your hair is generally permitted, but you ought to allow it to air dry, rather than utilizing a hair dryer. You will also need to consult your physician before you begin sporting make-up following a facelift. Some makeup can be implemented to minimize the appearance of bruising or discoloration, but you want to avoid irritating your incisions or even triggering long-term discoloration.
